Flower picking

We specialise in fresh cut flowers and a selection of practical & decorative garden ornaments.

How does it work?

  • Pink and cream-colored dahlia flowers in bloom against a bright sky.

    1) Visit 'The Patch'

Come to our beautiful flower garden and explore the vibrant garden beds.

  • Close-up of peach-colored garden flowers and green leaves with some wilting, against a backdrop of cloudy sky and open field.

    2) Choose your flowers

Stroll through the garden beds and select the flowers that catch your eye.

  • Flower garden with pink and white dahlias, green foliage, dirt path, trees in the background under a partly cloudy sky.

    3) Cut your flowers

Once you’ve made your selection, we will carefully cut the flowers for you (or you can choose to cut them yourself).

  • A person's hand holds a bouquet of colorful flowers including dahlias, zinnias, and small white blossoms against a blurred outdoor background.

    4) Take them home

Enjoy your freshly cut flowers immediately and take a piece of the ‘The Patch’ home with you.

FAQs

What flowers are available?

We have Dahlias available in January , February and March, Chrysanthemums in Autumn, Lilies in late Spring and Summer, Daffodils in late Winter and early Spring, Agapanthus in Summer, Gladioli in Summer and Peonies ready for picking in 2026.

How do I pay for the flowers?

Cash is preferred as our internet connection is a bit ‘dodgy’ out in the paddock, but we do have a square reader for payments by card.

How much do the flowers cost?

Pricing is dependent on the variety of the flowers and availability. We will provide the latest flower prices per stem on our Website, Facebook and Instagram pages. Currently, Dahlia stems range in price from $1.50 - $2.50 per stem

How do I take the flowers home?

We encourage you to bring along your own containers or buckets to take your flowers home in. We can also gift wrap your flowers for you.

What type of shoes should I wear?

As 'The Patch' is situated in the middle of a paddock, the ground in places is uneven and may be damp, so it is advised that you wear sensible, closed in footwear.

Can I bring my dog?

Well behaved and well socialised dogs on leads are welcome to visit the farm. However, please note we have animals of our own including chickens, peacocks, geese, koalas and 5 dogs.
